One thing that’s been gnawing at me: the Ukrainian incursion into Russian territory came almost immediately after Russia announced its backing of Tehran. Can’t help but think that’s a US-driven effort to redirect Russian attention away from Iran, while serving the dual US goal of further reducing any chances of Moscow agreeing to peace talks.
They can, but they must also be prepared for the consequences. That is how the world works. If that consequence includes thousands of missiles raining down on Tel Aviv, so be it. That is the framework we are working with.
